8:30 AM Sunday
This is a traditional Moravian worship service, featuring liturgies, hymn scripture and sermon. The sacrament of Holy Communion is on the designated Sundays of the church year. There is no choir or children's moment at this service. This service is cancelled on special occasions when the whole congregation celebrates occasions when the entire congregation gathers together for worship such as a lovefeast, church council, church anniversary, Youth Sunday, etc.
10:30 AM Sunday
This is the main worship service of the congregation and also is in the traditional Moravian style. It features liturgies, hymns, scripture, sermon, children’s moment, and special music. Most baptisms, confirmations and receptions of members take place during this service. It is also where we celebrate our lovefeasts, church councils, church anniversaries, and other special occasions.
This offers children from kindergarten through fifth-grade the opportunity to leave the sanctuary and go to another room where they worship on their own level.
This is a brief lesson taught during the 10:30 AM worship service to the children present in the congregation. They are invited to come forward to the front of the sanctuary for it. After the lesson, the children follow the teacher/leader out to Children’s Church.
