Clemmons Moravian Youth Fellowship were involved in two mission trips, one in June and one in July. Below is a brief description and a musical slideshow of pictures taken during their time at Laurel Ridge.
June Mission Trip
During the week of June 26th, CMC youth fellowship girls attended a Laurel Ridge Mission Camp. Building new stairs for an older gentleman actually turned out to be a lot of fun. The team enjoyed hanging out with old friends and making new friends while learning about God. They also helped others grow in there relationship with Christ through their efforts to help out a community. It was over to soon and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
July Mission Camp
During the week of July 24th, our youth fellowship boys took their turn at attending the Laurel Ridge Mission Camp. The group was assigned a project for a lady suffering from multiple illnesses. She needed significant work done on her home. The boys replaced the roof and repaired rotting and decaying boards on her front porch. They did a wonderful job with the homeowner and fulfilled the mission camp theme to “Be An Example” from 1 Timothy 4:12. They lived this theme throughout the week in their work ethic, their spiritual outreach to the homeowner and the desire to help her have a more comfortable and safe space to live in.
